BTM Church - The Beginning

The history of BTM Church goes back to the year 1999 when Pastor:Rev.Vincent Noronha was serving the Lord at Banaswadi space Bible Church, God sowed the seeds in their hearts to launch out into pioneering, planting, and establishing a church at a place where there was not much of Christian witness. The south of Bangalore which was growing rapidly with lots of IT development was surveyed and found to be a great challenge and need of a church at BTM Layout and its surrounding areas was impressed on us.

Launching Out

The seed sown in our heart became reality in the month of May, in the year 2001 when we moved out to BTM Layout. we began to meet new families, establish new contacts and build relationship by visiting and praying along with them. Initially, Sunday evening meetings were started at our residence which lead to Friday night cottage meetings. In the year 2002 end of June, we held our first Sunday Morning Worship Service with seven faithful people. From our home, we moved to the Canaan Public School and from there to a small place at 8th main. At present we have rented out a hall at BTM 1st Stage where we are able to carry out the ministries of the Church.

Background

We belong to the Protestant Church, which is inter-denominational. People from all denominations are welcome.
